With over five decades in the property industry, Peter Fearn’s career is a testament to experience, vision, and a deep-rooted passion for estate agency. Peter began his journey in residential agency back in 1969 in Yorkshire, where he quickly developed a reputation for professionalism and dedication.

His career then took him to Cheshire, where he became a partner in a firm of chartered surveyors. Always seeking new challenges, Peter moved further south in 1988 to take up a high-profile role as Managing Director of a corporate group overseeing 35 estate agency branches—a role that required both strategic leadership and an expert understanding of the market.

In 1993, Peter and his wife Liz, who herself has a strong background in estate agency, took the bold step of founding their own firm: Keats Fearn. Together, they created a business rooted in integrity, local knowledge, and a personalised approach that quickly earned them a trusted reputation in Farnham and the surrounding areas.

Having stepped back from the day-to-day running of the business over 13 years ago, Peter handed the reins to his son, James Fearn—also a Fellow Member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA). Under James’s leadership, Keats Fearn has continued to grow, combining the family’s long-standing values with modern innovation and an unwavering commitment to client service.

Today, Peter and Liz remain a valued presence behind the scenes, and his legacy is deeply woven into the continued success and strength of Keats Fearn.
